a. You rode more than 2500 km since last service. 
b. It’s been more than three months since your last service. 
c. It will be the best if you follow the service schedule prescribed in the owner’s manual that comes along with your vehicle. If you don’t have it or lost it, don’t worry. Just call us and we will let you know the recommended schedule for your bike make.

We keep you, and your 2-wheeler, at the centre of all that we do. So we work at your convenience which means, rather than you having to bring your bike/scooter to our workshop, we send our Bike Expert to where your bike is and the service is carried out there itself. Our Bike Experts carry basic servicing tools and spares for the same. In cases, where we are not carrying a part required to complete the service, we source the same from the nearest garage and bill you as per MRP.

No, that is not possible we do a general service at your doorstep and we are also able to do minor repair work, adjustments and oiling or greasing as well. However, if the bike needs major repair such as engine & clutch overhaul, shock-ups, cone-set & sprocket replacements, etc then we bring the bike to the workshop. Don't stress, bringing your bike to our workshop is our headache and is absolutely free of charge, only petrol shall be yours. This step is followed post the Job Card that is shared and signed by you with all estimate expenses as well.

When you make the booking with us, we call you before coming to understand the problems with the bike, if any and based on the information provided by you, we carry the necessary parts. But we understand, during service, few more spares may be required to complete the service, we source the same from the nearest garage and bill you as per MRP.

Please note that the cancellation should be done 1 day prior to the service booking date. If the cancellation is done on the day of the service, a nominal cancellation fee will be charged.

After each service is completed, our Bike Expert wil call the Xperience Centre to confirm completion of job. During this our team will confirm if you are satified with the service and if all checkpoints provided on the job sheet was deliverd/ completed. Bike Servicing

We perform the mandatory tasks like oil change, air filter, oil filter, spark plug and brake cleaning, chain adjustment, and carburator clearance check at your doorstep. Our general service gets rid of the need for you to visit a garage/ mechanic for your general maintenance needs. We love to see your bike fit and road ready, which inturn makes you happy and helps you save money!

Apart from the tools required for servicing, we carry engine oil (if specified by you), spark plug, air filter and brake shoes for each service. Also, if you specify during booking any additional spares that you need changed, like indicators, accelerator cable, choke cable, clutch cable etc. we bring those along as well. Please note, that apart from spark plug, air filter, brake shoe, and engine oil replacement, every spare replacement will have an additional charge which is not covered in the general service charges.

We recommend and use Motul, Mobil1 and HP for our bikes/scooter. However, in case you want a specific grade or brand for the Engine Oil, do let us know at the time of booking and we could bring the oil of your choice provided its available in the market at MRP.

Our Bike Expert carry sealed parts (sealed cans, in case of oil) and they open the seal in front of you. These parts come directy from the company distributors, who monitor the sourcing of spares rigorously.

During the confirmation call, our team will quiz you about the issues on your bike, and based upon it's condition and the work required, we would carry the spares, parts and oil as per your preference. And incase there is any extra work that is identified during our test and checklist, the same would be sourced locally for which you would be provided a complete invoice for all the purchases made by us and used in your bike as per the MRP.

Our foremost focus is to ensure quality and timely service. We use only genuine spares and lubricants. If we replace any parts in your vehicle, we return the damaged parts to you if you want, else we discard them for you.

We take pride of being environment friendly and at "Garage Uncle" we use a scientific eco-friendly based washing solution which utilises only 500ml of water to clean the entire bike. Being eco friendly, it also protects your vehicle from harmful chemicals present in other detergents, and spreads a protective layer on the vehicle which provides complete paint protection and shine to it as well. This does not completely clean all the nooks and corners of the bike, but we do a great job of giving a shine to the body and certain unreachable part of your bike. You will love it! and will realise our washing is of much better quality. Post an hour or so, everything dries up and no one will even know that a bike had been washed at the location post the service and you dont have to worry about problems created by your society or office as well.

No, we take special care to keep the surrounding clean and since we use very little water, the area won’t get dirty and will be dry within minutes.

We have a time-slot arranged for you and usually end up reaching your location with a buffer of half an hour more or less. If you are not satified with the time-frame we re-schedule a time convenient to you or register a cancellation of the service requested. You are also called and informed before the Bike Expert leaves for your location and shall update you if any delay.

We recommend that you be present during inspection to ensure absolute transparency.However, you can go on with your work and other personal chores while your bike gets serviced without having to worry abut anything.

We understand that your time is valuable and are always rushing ourselves to finish the work quickly at your doorstep while maintaining the highest quality possible. Garage Uncle has a 8 Step and 50+ Point checklist, we first take a test ride, note down all issues and provide an estimate before we start the service on your bike, so you decide on the work to be done within te 2 Hr window. Please do expect a buffer of half an hour more or less than the stated time to complete the task. Incase there is more work than the General Service required, we take your bike to our workshop for the entire work to be complete.

Yes, you can call us to postpone your delivery for the next day. If not taken the next day storage charges of Rs.50/day will be charged extra if delivery of the vehicle is not taken as communicated by Bike Expert. But the delivery time you request for, should be before 6pm, anything after that will be delivered on the next day.

Same day delivery will be possible only in the case of general servicing. If there is work beyond the scope of General Service the bike is taken to the Xperience Centre where depending on the work communicated, it may take that many number of days and/or as per the availability of the spare parts.

We will try everything in our potential to make the same day delivery for your bike. But it all depends on the condition of your bike and the repairs your bike will incurr, mostly it should be delivered the very next day.

From the moment your bike gets picked up for servicing, you will be notified of every activity related to that order via text messaging/ via a call until your bike is safely delivered to you.

We require the following documents:
  a. Vehicle Registration Certificate
b. Valid Insurance Certificate
c. PUC certificate
It would be great if you can provide us with the photocopies of the same. Else,our service executive will be taking a snapshot of the original copies of the above documents

We assume that your bike already have insurance, so whatever damage happens during transit the expenses will be covered under that insurance only. We don't have any separate reimbursement for the same, however we will help you out in the insurance recovery in case of any such situations.

Yes, we have our own Xpereience Centre, with all the advanced and state-of-the-art equipements required to swiflty return your beauty in tip-top share to you.

We would love to, but it’s not possible for us. For tasks like engine (engine making noise.etc), alloy-wheel shocker repair, body repair, clutch plate replacement etc., we will be requied to take the bike to our workshop, as there special tools needed for this job and so there wont be any shortcuts or compromise on the work done.


Pricing and Payment

No, they are just a basic estimate of the services being done. An estimate of the prices will be given to you by our bike expert once he test rides your vehicle, notes down the issues faced by you and completes the job card post inspection.

The final prices will be provided after the repairs/servicing has been done. This will be updated to you by our Bike Expert before the delivery of the bike

This includes general servicing as well as labor cost for mandatory tasks like oil change, air filter, oil filter, spark plug, carburator and brake cleaning, and chain adjustment check at your doorstep. No. In the interest of customer value, we have decided to charge flat rates based on the vehicle segment. The price depends only on the package selected by you. Also, we provide an estimate for your vehicle before you schedule a service.

We don't charge extra for pickup and drop off and its integrated service package.

In certain cases, during the process of servicing, bike expert might detect some additional adjustments or parts worn out that needs to be changed for the bike, apart from the repairs suggested at the time of estimation. These will arise majorly in the cases where the repairs are related to the internal parts of the vehicle. The BE will inform you about the same and if you would like to get the same attended to.

Yes, there will be an additional cost that is dependent on the scale of the repair, our BE will let you know of these charges (if any).

Visiting charges are meant to cover minor activities such as inspection, cleaning, checking the wiring etc. Regular service charges refer to the labor charges for full service carried out. Basically, anything that can be done within 45min/1hr.

Bigger bikes need additional time for service. Sometimes we also need to carry special equipment for servicing these bikes. Hence we need to charge differently for such bigger bikes and It doesn’t mean we don’t love these beauties.

Our charges for Regular service are comprised of two parts: Labor charges + Material at MRP. The labor charges are mentioned on bike service booking page (http://www.zapwheels.com/bike-booking/). In Regular service, typically, Engine Oil gets replaced while the repair / replacement of rest of the spares (brakes, air filter, oil filter etc.)depends on the condition of the parts.

There could be multiple reasons for the bike not starting. Issues could range from a simple Spark Plug to Carburettor blockage to Electrical faults. Hence, it is quite difficult to give an estimate without inspection. In such cases, we prefer to check the bike to find the exact issue and visiting charges apply for such visits. In case of running repairs, we would be able to provide estimate only after we have assessed the problem. In such cases, we prefer to check the bike to find the exact issue.
